Welcome to the collector site for fine orchid species, hybrids, and products
Orchids for orchid lovers, collectors, and aficionados. Billy's Buds of Minnesota offers you high quality live orchid plants, species, hybrids and orchid-related gifts. We started our operation October 28, 2003 with the acquisition of a fantastic orchid facility, and thousands of plants from a well respected breeder. After almost 10 months, we are still discovering exactly what we have, how many, and working hard to make sure they are getting the best care possible. The results are that we have thousands of Paphiopedilum and Miltoniopsis seedlings-to-blooming size plants, quite a few species plants and divisions of breeders, and some seedlings-to-breeders in the Phalaenopsis and Oncidium/ Intergeneric groups. We started with Winsome Orchids as a wholesale supplier to fine florists and garden centers throughout Minnesota and surrounding states. And we initialized Billysbuds.com as a site to offer some of the fine collectible quality stock. We are now reorganizing Billysbuds.com without the E-Commerce shopping cart which has been a source of problems for us and our customers. We will now list more items, include photos where we can, and rely on communication with our customers as to what they are looking for. Orders/Inquiries can be sent via email, fax, or give us a call. We accept payment by check, money order, Visa, and Mastercard for your convenience.
In June 2004, we added a line of Hostas for outdoor landscaping. We carry about 135 varieties, including some old and hard-to-finds, as well as the latest tissue culture offerings. Click HERE for a list of available hosta.
OPEN HOUSE
With the May outdoor gardening season coming, we have our OPEN HOUSE Saturday and Sunday May 21-22 and Saturday thru Memorial Day May 28-30. The Hostas, Perennials, and Hardy Orchids are Ready!
Open House Hours: 8am-5pm Saturdays & Sundays
8am-2pm Memorial Day
Normal Hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Saturday and by appointment
